Volunteer Opportunities

Because Lifeline is a non-profit organization, most services that we have to offer are only possible through volunteers and their generous outpouring of time and materials.

There are so many ways to reach out to those around us! Don't despair if you think you have nothing to offer others.

As for service opportunities at Lifeline, there are several programs which we need volunteer support and assistance.

Ambassador - Serve as a liaison for Lifeline of Berks to your church and/or workplace.

Events, Public Relations, & Fundraising - Promote and/or participate in awareness events, man booth at Fairs, Expos etc. Assist office staff with mailings, phone calls and general office tasks.

Office Support - Answer phones, take messages, make photocopies, help with mailings, filing, update data entry, make phone calls, etc.

Prayer Intercessors - Commit to praying daily for girls, babies, staff members, volunteers, and various ministry programs.

Property Maintenance - Handyman repairs, landscaping, lawn mowing, repair donated items, etc.

Transportation - Provide transportation to and/or from appointments and classes.

Care Consultant - Show girls you care by becoming a friend while educating them about pregnancy, parenting, and childbirth. Help them to find community resources.

Medical Care Consultant - For nurses and or sonographers who can assist clients perform pregnancy tests, take medical histories, and perform limited ultrasound when trained as well as all care consultant duties.

Receptionist/ Chaperone - Answer phones, schedule appointments, and accompany clients for sonograms.
