Many women are confused and frightened when faced with an unplanned pregnancy. At Lifeline, trained and caring peer counselors spend one-on-one time educating women of all ages and cultures on a wide variety of topics.

WHO WE ARE:
The mission of Lifeline of Berks County is to bring Christ's love to women who are facing difficult pregnancies. Lifeline provides support and hope, while educating young women about healthy lifestyles, and helping them to find life-embracing alternatives to abortion.

We are committed to serving the needs of women, families, and children, born and unborn. We uphold the dignity of all women by offering free and confidential services, life-affirming alternatives to abortion.

We promote abstinence as a safe and healthy lifestyle for unmarried persons.

AFFILIATION:
We are affiliated with Heartbeat International and receive training and materials from them to better serve our clients.

Lifeline of Berks County helped more than 1,900 needy women last year manage their pregnancy, and learn how to feed, clothe and care for their newborn babies.

The demand is great. So is our commitment to Berks County's women and children in need.
